Transfer Your Technical College Certification
Turn your hard work into college credits at Utah Tech University. Students who complete eligible certificates from one of Utah’s technical colleges can receive up to 30 elective credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree at Utah Tech. That means you can save time, reduce costs, and keep moving toward your goals.
Credit Conversion
30-credit (900 hour) technical college certificates: 30 elective credits at Utah Tech
20-credit (600 hour) technical college certificates: 20 elective credits at Utah Tech
10-credit (300 hour) technical college certificates: 10 elective credits at Utah Tech

Although the Utah Tech Registrar’s Office will automatically award the credits you should receive based on your technical college completed certificate as outlined in the credit conversion table above, we recommend visiting with your assigned academic advisor to discuss how those awarded credits apply to your degree requirements at Utah Tech if you are unsure.
