How do I apply for admission?
Applying to Utah Tech University is simple and entirely online. Start by selecting your student type (first-year, transfer, online, returning, international, graduate or non-degree seeking) then complete and submit your application, provide your transcripts, and pay the application fee (which may be waived for Utah residents). Test scores are optional but can help with course placement or scholarships.
Once your application is submitted, you can track your progress and next steps through the admissions portal. The admissions team is here to support you every step of the way as you take your first steps toward becoming a Trailblazer.
How will my credits transfer to Utah Tech University?

Why can't I log in to MyUT?
The most common reasons why students cannot login include:
- You are not fully admitted yet
- You are admitted but aren’t entering the correct login & password (call 435-652-7777)
- You have entered the incorrect password more than three times and have been locked out.
- Your web browser is not accepting cookies (see google’s article: How to Enable Cookies).
Your username is your Digital ID number. (must begin with d)

Can my parents see my grades?
Due to the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), your parents are not entitled to this information unless they verify that you are still their dependent for tax purposes, or you give them permission. This is accomplished by filling out This Form, and submitting in person at the registration counter or by mail if the form has been notarized.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
When you are accepted to Utah Tech University, you’re automatically considered for academic scholarships based on your GPA and ACT or SAT scores. Apply by priority deadlines and explore additional opportunities
