Set Up Your Student Account
Get started by setting up your login to access myUT and other campus tools.
Steps to follow:
- Click the “Change Password” link below
- Create a new password using your Digital ID
- Access your Digital ID in your UT acceptance letter or call the help desk if you need assistance
Why this matters:
Your student ID and password give you access to myUT, UT email, housing, and more.
STEP 2
Financial Aid & Scholarships
Visit studentaid.gov to complete your FASFA (Utah Tech School code is 003671). You may need to create a new account if you do not have one already.

Want to live on or near our beautiful campus? Apply now for On-Campus housing or explore Near-Campus options.
STEP 4
Confirm Enrollment
- Follow the link below to return to your Status Page
- Choose Returning Users and login with your personal email
- Select your current Undergraduate Application
- Complete the Enrollment Intention Form

Campus Tour
Register for a campus tour to see what Utah Tech is all about. From beautiful scenery to state-of-the-art buildings, our campus is ready for you to call it your new home.
STEP 6
Sign Up for Trailblazer Orientation
Register for Orientation starting March for fall admits and October for spring admits. Follow the link below to sign up for orientation and log in with the same email used for your application.
STEP 7
Register for Classes
Registration opens mid-April for fall and mid-November for spring.
- Incoming freshmen: Complete the Fall 2026 Registration Survey. You will be registered for classes by your advisor.
- Transfer students: Log in to myUT with your Digital ID and password, then select “Registration” under the Student tab to begin. Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor for support and to make a plan.
- International students: You will receive information on registering for classes from the Office of International Programs.
